Recruiting Female Police Officers

As police departments around the state aim to keep their
forces fully staffed, a special effort is being made to recruit female police
officers. We talk with Lt. Kathleen Stubbing, an 18-year veteran with
the Burlington Police Department, and Tiffany Bluemle of Vermont Works
for Women, which provides law enforcement training for women.(Listen)

Also in the program, a Vermont case goes before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Law professor Cheryl Hanna explains how Wyeth v. Levine could determine
whether a consumer may sue a federally regulated company.(Listen)

And we hear
from the organizer of the Nametag Project, an effort to break down
social barriers and build up community by getting people to introduce
