While Governor Jim Douglas and the Democrats disagree on how to solve the state’s budget impasse, State Auditor Tom Salmon has offered to mediate a deal between the two sides. Salmon discusses some of the controversial ideas he has for solving the financial challenges, including raising taxes, restructuring state government and expanding gambling in the state.(Listen)
