New Hampshire politics are even more intriguing than usual this fall,
with an active campaign for the open governor’s seat. On the next
Vermont Edition, we’ll look at the primary races underway for
Republicans and Democrats hoping to claim the governor’s seat. Our guests are local editor of the Valley News John Gregg and Dartmouth College political scientist Linda Fowler.

Also
in the program, a Vermont home brew will be on tap at Gillette Stadium this fall for Patriots home games. We talk with Matt Welz of Cornwall, whose smoked porter won that honor in Sam Adams annual home brew contest.

And, what’s Labor Day
weekend without a large group of presidential impersonators? VPR’s
Angela Evancie reports on the Teddy Roosevelt flash mob in Barre where a
crowd reenacted historic photos of Roosevelt taken on August 31, 1912 in Barre.
