Green Mountain Power is at the center of several energy stories right now, and on Tuesday’s program we discuss them with the company’s CEO Mary Powell.

GMP’s parent company, Gaz Metro, is seeking permission to purchase Vermont’s largest utility, CVPS, creating a 70 percent stake in the state’s electric market. GMP is also building a wind energy project on Lowell Mountain that has raised the objections of people in surrounding towns.

We’ll discuss these issues, and take your questions on related electric energy topics.
