We also explore the political and diplomatic effect this news has on U.S. action in Afghanistan. We talk with Vermonter Peter Galbraith, a former U.N. envoy to Afghanistan, about the implications of this news, and with Saleem Ali, a UVM professor from Pakistan, about how the news has been received there. We also hear from Vermont guard Adjutant General Michael Dubie about the service of Vermonters in Afghanistan over the last 10 years.
