Recently, House Speaker Shap Smith had personal information placed on a website which was linked to his Facebook page because of his anti-decriminalization stance on marijuana. And Entergy CEO J. Wayne Leonard also had personal information leaked. These attacks were the work of the Anti Security or Antisec Movement.
Dr. Peter Stephenson, director of the Norwich University Advanced Computing Center, and Champlain College Assistant Professor of Digital Forensics Jonathan Rajewski look at how big a threat the movement is and at what can be done to protect against these attacks.
Also on the program, we’ll hear a live performance from Plattsburgh blues/rock band Lucid. The band is about to head out on a tour through the Northeast and South, but stops in to the VPR Performance Studio before they hit the road in their school bus turned tour bus named Lucy.
