Vermont’s Libraries

Vermont has
more libraries per capita than any other state.
But Vermont is one of the
few states in the nation that does not fund its libraries at a state level. We look at how libraries raise their own
funds locally, and we also examine how the role of a town library has
changed.

Also, some college students are calling their parents up to
ten times a week on their cell phones…we talk with one Middlebury professor who’s
researching whether or not those phone calls delay adulthood.

And, we travel to Isle
La Motte as part of our series of
postcards from Vermont towns.
