The annual BBC Proms is one of the largest classical music festivals in the world, with 76(!) concerts in its multi-week lineup. The festival’s grand finale is the traditional "Last Night of the Proms" concert at Royal Albert Hall in London, and VPR Classical will bring you the entire live concert on Saturday afternoon, September 12th, starting at 2.
This year’s program is hosted by Brian Newhouse and features David Robertson leading the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Chorus and several soloists including music by Handel, Elgar, and Mahler.
