Thirty Vermont residents are scheduled to become United States citizens during a ceremony at a South Burlington school.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services says Monday’s naturalization ceremony will be held at the Rick Marcotte Central School, where U.S. Magistrate Judge John Conroy will administer the oath of allegiance.

The citizenship candidates come from 19 countries.

The Vermont Air National Guard Base Color Guard will present the flag, and musical selections will be performed by the school’s fifth-grade chorus.
