Four Vermont Air National Guard F-16s will be flying over Fenway Park as part of the opening day ceremonies for the Boston Red Sox.

This season marks the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park, the oldest and considered by many to be the most beloved major league ball park.

The Red Sox will be hosting the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Vermont Air Guard has done flyovers on opening day for several years.

Friday’s flyover is scheduled for shortly after 2 p.m.
