Yet another snowstorm hit Northern New England this weekend. State and town snowplows are out in force this morning in many parts of Vermont, trying to make a tough commute a little easier.

Some schools in the region are closed or delayed.

New Hampshire’s largest electric utility says the latest snowstorm causes some minor power outages even as crews continued restoring outages from the previous weekend’s ice storm.

Public Service Company of New Hampshire says more than 95 percent of those who lost power during the ice storm now have it back. But that still left about 10,000 homes and businesses without power as of early Monday morning.

Snow totals have ranged close to two feet in some areas from storms that swept into Vermont on Friday and again yesterday. Burlington recorded a total of 17 inches.
