The Dairy Farmers of Vermont organization held a news conference in Montpelier to urge the State Senate to put a half million dollars into their effort to revive an abandoned milk processing plant; on Fridays we call Melinda Wittstock of the Capitol Hill News Bureau in Washington, to see what Vermont’s Congressional delegation is doing; the trustees of the Vermont state colleges have voted to raise tuition at the five schools, one day after Governor Jim Douglas said he would oppose an increase.
