A Cambridge attorney running for Vermont attorney general says if she’s elected she’ll prosecute President Bush for murder.

Charlotte Dennett is a 61-year-old attorney and investigative journalist.

She says Bush must be held accountable for the deaths of thousands of people in Iraq.

Incumbent Attorney General William Sorrell says he doesn’t believe his office has the authority to charge Bush.

Meanwhile, The Republican National Committee calls Dennett’s position a "radical left-wing provocation."
