Authorities are examining the wreckage of the small plane that crashed in Swanzey, New Hampshire yesterday to see if they can determine what went wrong. The plane burst into flames when it crashed, killing all seven people on board.

The victims included three children and their parents from Louisiana, as well as their grandparents from West Virginia. The group had been visiting relatives in Newfane, Vermont.

National Transportation and Safety Administration investigators were bringing in a wreckage removal team Tuesday afternoon. Investigators said one possibility they are looking at is whether the plane’s fuel contained water, and caused engine trouble. Witnesses said they heard engines sputtering before the plane crashed just after taking off from the airport.
