Vermont writers are celebrating their freedom to read this week by reading from works that have been banned or censored.

This is the 30th annual Banned Books Week, which highlights the value of free and open access to information.

Vermont authors David Budbill, Willem Lange and Katherine Paterson will read from banned works at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Christ Episcopal Church, in Montpelier.
