The city of Barre is bracing for a possible shutdown next week if the city’s budget fails again.
The city manager warned city councilors that if the budget doesn’t pass she will push for partially closing City Hall.
That means no non essential functions and fewer emergency services for residents.
Mayor Thomas Lauzon opposes a municipal shutdown.
