Barre native signs with the New York Jets

David Ball — a Barre native and Spaulding High School graduate — has signed with the New York Jets of the National Football League. Ball — who also starred at the University of New Hampshire — signed with the Jets’ practice squad after being twice signed and released in September by the Chicago Bears organization.
