Police say vandals apparently armed with BB guns have caused a rash of damage around Chittenden County.
Police say there have been at least 60 acts of vandalism in at least six communities, including 20 in Burlington last weekend.
The vandals are shooting at windows and parked cars, even some with people in them.
The manager of J&M Groceries in Burlington tells police that people are coming into the store looking for a way to cover their smashed out windows or to cover up their vehicles.
Williston Police told WCAX-TV that they have leads on who may be responsible and they are working with police in the other communities.
