The opening of a new Vermont state office complex next month in Bennington will shut down criminal and family division courts for several days and temporarily limit some state agency services.

Agency of Human Services officials tell the Bennington Banner the first move will include the courts and state’s attorney’s offices, between April 14 and April 19. The courthouse will be closed and reopen on April 23. It will operate on a limited, emergency basis from the Bennington Superior Court Civil Division.

Other state offices, including various departments within the Agency of Human Services, will be moving on April 20 and April 21. There will be limited access to computer networks, phones and equipment in that time period.
