The Anglican world is waiting to hear how Episcopal leaders will respond to demands that they prevent any more gays from becoming bishops.
The response could determine whether the global Anglican fellowship splits apart.

Anglican leaders set a September 30th deadline for the Episcopal leaders to pledge not to consecrate another gay bishop or approve an official prayer service for same-gender couples. A vote by the full House of Bishops was set for today, the final day of an Episcopal meeting in New Orleans.
