The bodies of two Paul Smith’s College students who died after falling into an Adirondack lake from capsized canoes have been recovered by police divers.

Divers in Paul Smiths, New York found the body of 18-year-old Lee Walker, of Enosburg Falls, late Saturday afternoon. The body of 20-year-old Sean Cornell, of Manchester Center, was found at about noon yesterday.

Cornell and Walker were among six students dumped into Lower St. Regis Lake when their canoes overturned late Friday night just off shore from the campus deep in the Adirondack Mountains.

Four others made it safely to shore, about 100 feet away.
