Brian Michael Till grew up in Jericho. Now, at 26 years old he’s publishing his first book. Till has sat down with more than dozen world leaders of the last 30 years to find out from them what they learned while governing. The interviews include Bill Clinton, Pervez Musharraf, Mikhail Gorbachev and others.
His book is “Conversations With Power: What Great Presidents and Prime Ministers Can Teach Us About Leadership.” Brian Till writes about being frustrated during the 2008 presidential campaign, and feeling that real issues weren’t being addressed. He says his generation is inheriting serious problems, and he set out to hear what retired statesmen had to give for advice. He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about the book.
