A Bradford sixth grade teacher charged last week with sex crimes that involved some of his students is now facing a federal child pornography charge.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says a grand jury yesterday indicted 51-year-old Richard Foster.
Police allegedly found images in Foster’s home of him engaged in sexual activity with a former student.
Foster is already facing four felony sex charges.
Foster is due to appear before a federal magistrate today in Burlington to answer the new charge.
Police in Vermont were alerted to the case after the parents of one of Foster’s former students, who had moved to Florida, discovered sexually explicit images from Foster on their son’s cell phone.
