An electronics manufacturer in Brandon has closed, eliminating 47 jobs.

Neo EMS closed Tuesday.

Del Cook, the company’s human resource manager, says workers were notified early Wednesday morning.

The company was bought late last year by the Texas-based Titan Global Holdings, which cut 20 jobs at that time.

Cook says Neo EMS president Jerry Panos decided to consolidate the work at the company’s other plant in Woburn, Mass.

Neither Panos nor an official with Titan Global Holdings immediately returned phone calls seeking comment.
