Brattleboro papers get new publisher

The Brattleboro Reformer and Town Crier newspapers are getting a new publisher.

Martin Langeveld will take start work in Brattleboro on April first.

Langeveld is now the publisher of the North Adams Transcript in Massachusetts.

The Reformer, Town Crier and Transcript are owned by New England Newspapers, a division of the Denver-based MediaNews Group.

New England Newspaper President Andrew Mick says Langeveld will ensure readers get high quality journalism and the personal involvement they have come to expect.
