Brush fire burns near Statehouse

Firefighters on Tuesday evening have a brush fire behind the Vermont Statehouse largely under control. Officials aren’t saying yet what caused the brushfire in the woods behind the Capitol. Firefighters brought their trucks to the Statehouse and then traveled on foot to the blaze to try to put it out.
