Burlington businesses wrok against racial profiling

A group is calling on retailers in downtown Burlington to take a stand against racial profiling. The Burlington Anti-Racism Coalition is asking Church Street businesses to sign a statement saying they will not target customers based on race, creed or nationality. About 25 percent of retailers say they will sign the declaration. Other merchants say they fear they might be labeled as racist if they don’t sign the statement.
