Senator Joe Biden kicked off a flurry of visits to New Hampshire by the two presidential campaigns with a town hall forum where housing market worries topped voters’ concerns.

In a nod to New Hampshire’s status as a swing state, the Democratic vice presidential nominee’s visit Wednesday will be followed by Senator Barack Obama’s arrival Friday and Saturday and Republican John McCain’s trip on Sunday.

Asked about the housing crisis, Biden told a crowd at Nashua Community College that McCain is confusing predator and prey when he says it’s not the government’s role to bail out big banks and small borrowers. Biden says government has an obligation to put people in a position to re-negotiate their loans.
