The latest campaign spending reports are out and some races have candidates spending well into the millions of dollars.
In the U.S. Senate race, Congressman Bernie Sanders has raised a total of $3.8 million and has $2 million in cash.
His opponent, Republican Richard Tarrant, has spent $4.3 million of his own money, raised $21,000 and has $840,000 left.
Democratic state Senator Peter Welch, who’s running for U.S. House, has raised more than a million dollars and still has $815,000 in the bank.
His opponent, Republican Martha Rainville, has raised more than $536,000 and has $339,000 remaining.
