(Host) UVM’s men’s basketball team is on its way to Utah. The coaches, players and trainers left for the national championship tournament early Tuesday morning from Burlington. Governor Jim Douglas was among the fans who gathered at the departure gate to the wish the team good luck:

(Douglas) “Well, I told coach and the players – about a year ago no one thought I’d win either.” (Sound of laughter.)

(Host) The Catamounts are the underdogs in Thursday’s matchup against the University of Arizona. Head coach Tom Brennan says he’s going to feed his players at the best steakhouse in Salt Lake City and simply enjoy the experience of playing in the NCAA Championships.
