Christmas trees grown in New Hampshire and Vermont are headed for American soldiers stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The trees were wrapped up and put in a delivery truck this weekend at the Rocks Estate in Bethlehem.

They’re among some 15,000 to 17,000 trees being sent to American troops overseas as part of the “Trees for Troops” program. Donated trees come from 650 growers in 27 states.
