Vermont State College officials are investigating the third serious computer security breach in the past year.
The latest breach occurred last week, when a hacker gained unauthorized access to the e-mail account of the Lyndon State College system administrator.
The hacker sent an e-mail around the Lyndon State campus last week complaining about the most serious previous computer security breach.
That occurred February 28th, when a laptop computer containing an unknown amount of sensitive data on students, faculty and staff was stolen from a staff member’s car in Montreal.
