A community-wide forum is planned for this weekend in Groveton, New Hampshire to talk about the impending closing of the Wausau Paper mill.

The Groveton Regional Economic Action Team is inviting the public to attend the forum Saturday morning.

Board Director Charlotte Sheltry said the idea is let the public speak about their concerns and ideas about the future. She said legislators and other elected officials are invited to listen to displaced workers and to celebrate the generations of paper making at the mill.

The mill is set to close on New Year’s Eve, putting 303 people out of work.
