A Lebanon, New Hampshire company is paying thousands to settle an air pollution case.
Timken Aerospace agreed to a $154,000 settlement.
The state alleges Timken burned waste oil for six months last year without a permit, burned waste oil that did not meet certain specifications and did not submit emission reports or pay emission fees on time.
Timken did not admit to any of the allegations, but it in addition to the payment, it promised to implement an environmental management system. It also surrendered its air permit and cannot reapply for one until 2009.
