Secretary of State Jim Condos says the official results of the upcoming election could be delayed past Thanksgiving by a lawsuit brought by the U.S. Justice Department.
The federal government is suing the state to push back the deadline for overseas voters to return their ballots.
That’s because a recount in the primary election led to a delay in mailing out ballots to some overseas voters.
