Congressman Peter Welch has hired a new spokesman.
Paul Heintz most recently worked as a reporter for the Brattleboro Reformer. He has also worked as a freelance reporter for a number of other publications.
Heintz is replacing Andrew Savage, who has been promoted to become Welch’s deputy chief of staff.
Heintz graduated from Dartmouth College in 2006. He will start November 5 and work out of Welch’s Washington, D.C. office.
