President Obama nominated Dartmouth College President Jim Yong Kim for the post of President of the World Bank, a post that traditionally has been held by an American. But two other candidates, Nigerian Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and former Colombian Finance Minister Jose Antonio Ocampo, are also under consideration.

VPR’s Jane Lindholm talks with retired World Bank manager Tom Binkhorn of Hanover about how the next president will be chosen, and impact he or she may have.
