Court hearings have been postponed for two men charged in the Brooke Bennett case.

Raymond Gagnon and Michael Jacques were due in federal court in Burlington today but the hearings have been postponed at the request of defense attorneys.

Jacques, a convicted sex offender and uncle of the 12-year-old, has been charged with kidnapping her. Her body was found about a mile from his Randolph home, a week after she disappeared.

Gagnon is facing charges of destroying evidence in the investigation.

No new date has been set for the hearings.
