A Danville man will serve 21 days in jail for 16 Fish and Wildlife violations that were documented on videotape. Thirty-four-year-old Carl Sanborn has pleaded guilty to charges that he took a bear in a closed season, shot from a car, violated youth hunting day and kept a live deer in an empty swimming pool. Game wardens searched the house and seized videotapes that they say showed Sanborn and others committing the violations. Sanborn was fined $1,000 and ordered to make $1,000 donation to the Fish and Wildlife Fund. He must also serve 30 days on a work crew.
