Dartmouth Gospel Choir heads to New Orleans festival

It’s unusual for a school gospel group from outside of Louisiana to receive an invitation to perform at the prestigious New Orleans Jazz and heritage festival. The Dartmouth Gospel Choir received just such an invitation this year. And this Saturday the students and community members of the group will take the stage in the Big Easy. Judging from a recent dress rehearsal by the choir, it’ll be a rousing hand clapping, hip shaking performance.
