Demand for VT Bonds Outpaces Supply

Last month, the state of Vermont sold nearly $60 million dollars in bonds in one day. That’s according to State Treasurer Jeb Spaulding, who says potential buyers ordered a total of $90 million dollars worth of bonds, but there simply weren’t enough available.

VPR’s Peter Biello asked Treasurer Spaulding about what the sale of these bonds means for the state and for the investors.
