Donath named to national museum board

Vermonter David Donath will be joining the National Museum Services Board. Donath is the director of the Billings Farm and Museum in Woodstock and is president of The Woodstock Foundation. He’s one of 14 Americans appointed by President Bush to serve on the board.

Supreme Court Justice David Souter will officiate at the swearing in ceremony on Wednesday in Washington. The National Museum Services Board is an advisory board of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a chief source of federal funding and support for the nation’s libraries and museums.
