The Vermont Department of Health is getting high marks for one of its emergency preparedness programs.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rating indicates that Vermont has shown a readiness to move pharmaceuticals, vaccines and medical supplies from stockpiles to clinics and hospitals quickly in the event an emergency.

The CDC evaluated the state’s plans in April and gave it a score of 90 out of a possible 100.
