Fifteen towns support parental notification resolution

Fifteen towns want the state to require that parents be notified when girls younger than 18 seek abortions.

Four of the twenty-six towns who took up the resolution voted against it. Seven towns decided not to take any action on the measure.

The resolution asks the Legislature to support parental notification if a minor seeks an abortion.
