Vermont State Police are investigating what caused a fire that destroyed the Windsor South Supervisory Union superintendent’s office this morning.

The Woodstock building was already engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived shortly after 6:00 a.m. this morning. No one was injured in the blaze.

Investigators say they believe the fire started along the building’s roofline. Classes were held as scheduled at the nearby Woodstock High School.

The local fire chief says there have been two fires at that high school in the past year.
