Fire extinguished at Ethan Allen furniture plant

Firefighters from across the Northeast Kingdom stopped a fire in the Ethan Allen furniture plant before it reached a room where flammable liquids are stored. It took firefighters two-and-a-half hours to extinguish the fire that started at the back of the plant at about 8:30 a.m. The plant’s 400 employees were evacuated.
