It was two years ago today that a flood raged through Alstead, New Hampshire carrying away homes and carving the landscape down to bedrock.
The town and its residents have made significant progress, but repairs continue, especially on roads.
Some residents had to move, but others were able to restore their damaged property.
Seven people were killed in the flooding, including four in Alstead.
