Former Specialty Filaments President Faces Fraud Charges

The former president of a Vermont manufacturing plant is facing federal fraud charges.

Donald Marker is the former president of Specialty Filaments, which declared bankruptcy and closed in 2007. He is accused of committing more than $1 million in bank fraud.

WCAX-TV reports court documents say the company filed falsified reports to try and get the bank to loan large sums of money.
