Former Vermont House majority leader Connie Houston says she’ll be retiring from the Legislature this fall.
Houston made the announcement last week as she was visiting town meetings in the communities she represents in northern Addison County.
Houston has served in a number of leadership positions for House Republicans, both when they were in the majority and when they were in the minority.
She has represented her district since 1993.
