(Host) Police investigating the mysterious disappearance of a Vermont couple now say they suspect foul play.

William and Lorraine Currier, of Essex, have been missing since June 8th. Their car was found several days later, but a gun that the couple recently purchased is still missing.

Essex police Captain Brad LaRose says he wants the public to be aware of four elements of the investigation.

(LaRose) "Foul play is suspected, that this is an isolated incident, that forensic evidence had been located, and that there has been quite a bit of ground search activity that has taken place, and there’s more that will take place."

(Host) Relatives have offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the couple’s whereabouts.
